My Story:
Losing this weight has been the best experience of my life. I have always been overweight. I weigh 142 pounds which is what I was in 5th grade, and I was a lot shorter then. I don’t ever remember being this small. People tell me that I inspire them all the time. People always ask how I lost the weight. I always say low carb dieting with Atkins and exercising. I would run about 6 miles 5 times a week. I just woke up on the 4th of July and decided that I wanted to lose weight. Losing weight just had to click in my brain one day. I didn’t cheat on my diet at all. When my other friends ate pizza, I did too. I just ate Atkins pizza instead. Before I lost the weight, I was on the road to weight related problems and diseases too. I had borderline high cholesterol and would get out of breath easily. After I lost all the weight, I went to the doctor and they said all was well. I am the most confident I have ever been. I feel the most healthy I’ve ever been too. Because of the weight loss, I feel confident and healthy enough to start my journey at nursing school. I start nursing school in the fall.
