Atkins Net Carbs = Total Carbohydrates – Fiber – Sugar Alcohols/Glycerin (if applicable)
×INGREDIENTS
-
2 bar Atkins Birthday Cake Bar
-
1 fruit 3-3/8" high x 3" diameter Asian Pears
-
0 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
-
0 1/4 teaspoon Ginger, ground
-
0 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
-
0 1/4 tsp Allspice, ground
-
0 1/8 tsp Salt
-
0 2/3 Tbsp Butter, salted or unsalted
DIRECTIONS
- Halve each bar and place on a parchment paper lined, microwave safe plate. Microwave on high power for 25 seconds. Use a fork to flatten each bar half, then transfer to a silicone muffin liner or a regular muffin tin, using fingers to form an even crust, filling in any holes. Place in the freezer to set.
- Peel, quarter and core the pear. Thinly slice, place in a small bowl, and toss with the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and salt until evenly coated.
- Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium high heat. Add the pear and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes. Fill each Birthday Cake Bar crust with even amounts of pears, and serve. For more formed crusts, cool the pie bites in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes. One mini pie is one serving.
