1 tbsp Canola Vegetable Oil

1 small Onions

1 lb Sauerkraut (Solid and Liquids, Canned)

1 cup Chicken Broth, Bouillon or Consomme

1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
-
0 1/2 tsp Caraway Seed
-
0 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
-
24 oz Polish Kielbasa (Turkey and Beef, Smoked)
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat and sauté sliced white onion 5 minutes until soft. Add sauerkraut, broth, mustard, bay leaf, caraway seeds and peppercorns; mix well. Cover pan and simmer mixture 30 minutes.
- Add sausage, mix well and simmer 20 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.
