INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp Canola Vegetable Oil
  • 0 1/2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
  • 4 cup, shredded Chinese Cabbage (Bok-Choy, Pak-Choi)
  • 3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Sucralose Based Sweetener (Sugar Substitute)
  • 1 1/4 cup Chicken Broth, Bouillon or Consomme
  • 2 tbsp Tamari Soybean Sauce
  • 0 2/3 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Thick-It-Up
  • 24 oz, boneless, cooked Chicken Breast
  • 0 1/4 cup, slivered Almonds

DIRECTIONS

This recipe is suitable for all phases except the first two weeks of Induction due to the nuts.
 
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot, about 1 minute. Dice the white onion, cabbage and celery.  Mince the garlic,  Add all the vegetables to the pan and cook until the cabbage is wilted, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar substitute, broth, soy sauce and sesame oil and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in thickener, increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in cooked chicken, lower heat and simmer until heated through, about 4 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted almonds before serving.
