DIRECTIONS
- Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces. Microwave bacon or cook in a large, heavy skillet over moderate heat until just crisp. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain. (Reserve drippings for another use.)
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Thinly slice cabbage and add to water; cook 10 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain well and pat dry with paper towels.
- In the same pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute. Add cabbage and mustard; toss to coat evenly. Stir in bacon. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
